Welcome to the very latest instalment of the incredibly exhilarating series of entertaining pieces of fun known as Indie Thing. Today we bring you something just a little bit different, something ever so irritating; yet, something which will captivate your attention for hours on end, if you allow it to.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I present you with the infuriatingly complex web game known as Impasse.
Developed by the mad scientists over at Wanderlands, Impasse is seemingly designed with the sole task of invoking both awe and extreme anger to anyone who dares attempt to navigate around its mazes of coloured circles.
In their own words “Impasse is a difficult and different minimalist puzzle game”, and I am certainly inclined to agree with this statement.
The basic principal is to make your way to the green tick without touching any of the grey circles; this may seem easy at first, but the task becomes progressively harder as time goes on.
The moment you come into contact with one of the orange circles you will realise exactly what I am talking about! Despite this infuriating experience, the game is somehow incredibly addictive and even now I have it open in another tab.
Do you have any suggestions for future instalments of Indie Thing? Here at Nerdscoop we relish the opportunity to play games at work, so please by all means send them our way!
