Spanish MySpace Launched in U.S.

This week MySpace launched a Spanish version for the 28 million Americans that speak Spanish as their first language. There actually was already a Spanish version of MySpace, but it was only available in Spanish speaking countries through a geographic redirect.

With the unveiling of the new site, Americans will be able to go directly to the Latin version, which can be found at Users of the ‘latino’ MySpace can still be friends with users of the regular MySpace, or in fact with users of any of the MySpace sites that are available around the world.

With Facebook gaining popularity however, some say this move has come far too late. What are you thoughts?
